I decided to switch things up a bit this time around. Instead of Blaze looking as if he were walking or standing, I sat him down. The neck wound isn't the main focus this time, but instead, the blood itself. Shades of red were used less this time,and shades of pink or gray were used more. Since this time was a full-body drawing, I added a wound on the tip-of-the-tail as well.
And what has come from all of these changes? Improvement,and lots of it.
I can't believe how much more natural everything looks! The red blood on the white fur looks less dramatic,and the background is more well done,even if it's just a simple pattern. As much as I loved the orginal version,I'm much happier with the result of this one. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!
